Virtual Book Discussion Series Kickoff: June 8 at 7pm Discussion 1: June 22 at 7 pm Discussion 2: July 6 at 7 pm Ready to have brave conversations about race, whiteness, and anti-racism? Join the conversation! In keeping with our commitment to diversity and respecting every human being, this will be a brave space where we can ask questions and learn from each other. Talking to Children About Race Hosted in partnership with Child Care Answers. In our current racially charged society, parents may have difficulty helping children understand racial bias. As your child’s first teacher, parents can teach children how to react to racial differences. This training will focus on age appropriate talking tips and strategies for parents to use with their child. June 24 and July 14 |
